Solution
Chimney cross-sectional area = 0,38 m x 0,90 m = 0,342 m2
Chimney volume = cross-sectional area x chimney height = 0,342 m2 x 7,0 m = 2,394 m3 = 2,4 m3
The amount of materials needed for construction:
ceramic brick full of class 100(150) = 2,4 m3 x 388 szt./m3 = 931 pcs.
cement-lime mortar Rz 30 = 2,4 m3x 0,216 m3/m3 = 0,518 m3
(1:1:6), including:
construction cement 250 = 2,4 m3 x 50 kg/m3 = 120 kg
hydrated lime = 2,4 m3 x 28 kg/m3 = 67 kg
mortar sand = 2,4 m3 x 517 kg/m3 = 1241 kg
water = 2,4 m3 x 123 dm/m3 = 295 dm3
