Materials for stairs
OR WOOD, CONCRETE OR STEEL, OR COMBINATIONS OF THEM?
This versatility finds its reason in the easy construction system. As in a bolt, there are steps arranged around the pole, in which the position is determined by the embedded ring with the arm. In doing so, the recipe must be adhered to, that backslidden 15 cm on the core (equivalent to step and ring height) answers 10 cm step step shift. Spiral steps are found as a self-contained building system. The best solution is a combination of wooden steps and a column – steel tube core. Also, handrails or balustrades for spiral stairs are made of pipes or steel flat bars. Cottage owners must remember, that construction supervision is reluctant to install spiral stairs between floors of fully usable residential premises. These stairs must be built according to the rules of the book, i.e.. minimum 80 cm with observance of the rules of the degrees of climb.
Using the stairs, the so-called. spoon racks, we can connect to the attic floor.
Building full – normal stairs for communication with the roof, which are most often not used, is pointless. It is expensive first, secondly, it requires space for their location and a separate opening in the upper story. A substitute connection is sufficient for this, which is used on an ad hoc basis. The architects developed a solution known as retractable stairs for this purpose. It is a small folding ladder, attached to the entrance hatch in the attic. When we tilt the hatch, the automatic catch is released and the ladder is pulled down. Such ready-made devices should be commercially available. They are not allowed to be used in place of normal stairs between floors.
When we are going to build a room in the attic, which would be a labor chamber, this use of a ladder becomes unsuitable due to inconvenience. In this case, it is necessary to find space and build a light stair structure in the spoon type – samba. They can be erected almost vertically due to the one-sided steps, arranged alternately. They are adapted to your pace and have ample space for one foot. The required width of the stairs: 80 cm and adequately secure handrails, that the steep ascent is secured.
HOW TO MAKE A STAIR-BEAM USING A WALL ANGLE?
o for the cheekbar z 20 cm height of the step and 25 cm, with the step width, set the clamps on the angle bar in the positions 20 i 25;
o mark the first edges of the cuts in the cheek bar, measure the next application points with a large carpenter's caliper along the cheekbar.
