Development of the area

There is more space for creating storage spaces in each room, than we first think. Under the beds, sofas, window benches, above the door, above the bed, above the stairs, in the corners, in basements and attics, behind the door – all these spaces can be practically developed. The foot of the washbasin can be enclosed with a cabinet, wardrobes can be extended to the full height of the room, a floor with shelves can be added to the free-standing cabinets.

By purchasing folding tables and beds, we can enlarge the usable space of our apartment.
Some ideas for storing things can also have decorative value, so it's worth experimenting. Everyday items, such as shoes, can be hanged in plain sight; old cans, barrels, and even a fragment of the chimney can be turned into attractive and useful containers. When choosing cabinets and shelves, always think about their decorative qualities. The ideal would be, if all the rack and cabinet sets could be freely disassembled and set up in a new configuration.

Modular cabinet sets
Sets consisting of shelves, drawers and cabinets offer opportunities for changes and choices. Two modules can be moved apart, to put a shelf or table top on them. Free-standing racks can be used as partitions in large rooms (they must then be weighed down below, so that they do not fall over).
Wall-mounted cabinets can be used to build a recess above the fireplace or to fill the gap between furniture and kitchen appliances.

Freestanding cabinets with drawers
Shelves with drawers can be purchased ready-made, prefabricated or you can build them yourself from raw materials available on the market. You can also buy ready-made drawers made of hardened polystyrene.
